Q: Who are the Cheaver Task Masters, and how are they selected?
A: The Cheaver Task Masters are local folks interested in earning extra money, but not everyone gets to be a Task Master. Q: How do I become a Task Master?
A: Each Task Master applicant is subject to this 4-step process: 1) Submit an online application; 2) Pass the face-to-face / phone interview; 3) Pass the detailed background screening; and 4) Agree to the Cheaver Code-of-Conduct. Once you have made it through the process, your online profile will be setup, and you can bid on the tasks you are interested in. Being a Task Master is great! You work for yourself, and determine your own hours / number of tasks. Talk about flexible!
Q: Once I submit a task, how does the transaction work?
A: Submission of a task is completely free! Once a customer selects a Task Master’s bid, the bid amount is charged to the customer’s account, and the amount is held in a Cheaver “holding” account. The Task Master is not officially paid until the customer marks the task as complete. (If the customer takes no action, the task is automatically considered complete 3 days after the Task Master marks the task complete.)
